JVR accuses the conventional of Vamos por Chile of being paralyzed

Senator Jacqueline Van Rysselberghe received questions following indicating that the conventions of Vamos por Chile are paralyzed and she does not see that they are calling to promote an alternative text of the Magna Carta. Conventional members of Vamos por Chile criticized the statements of UDI senator Jacqueline Van Rysselberghe, who affirmed that the constituent of the sector are not convening to promote an alternative text in the body.

The conventional ones pointed out that the center right is paralyzed due to management in the National Congress.

Controversy was caused by the statements of UDI senator Jacqueline Van Rysselberghe, following questioning the constituents of Vamos por Chile in an interview published in Third.

The parliamentarian affirmed that the conventional ones of the sector they are not convening to promote an alternative text in the constituent body, ensuring that they are paralyzed.

Words that were not well received by the right-wing conventionalists, who pointed out that the congresswoman has not understood the process.

The conventional Eduardo Cretton (UDI) affirmed that the senator represents a leadership that citizens stopped trusting a long time ago.


The constituent of Vamos por Chile, Roberto Vega, also joined the criticism and affirmed that the center-right has managed to build ties with other political sectors in the Constitutional Convention, achieving common sense in the plenary.

The former president of the UDI also called on the conventional members of her sector to mobilize and tell people what is being approved, since, as she pointed out, that has not happened.

Van Rysselberghe later referred to the questions that his statements generated, assuring Radio Bío Bío that he is verifying a fact and that is that “the majority of people, ordinary people, who are not linked to politics, have no idea of what is happening in the Constituent Assembly”.

For this reason, he would like to see the Chilean conventionalists Let’s go unfolding informing what is being voted on.

“I understand that there are some who might be upset, but it is the future of our country and our children, and I feel compelled to say so. And I think that self-complacency, congratulating yourself on how difficult the problem you are doing, can be a path, but not the one that leads us to make sanity reign in this country.”
