Al-Marsad newspaper: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced the filing of a lawsuit once morest Russia at the United Nations International Court of Justice in The Hague.
“Ukraine has officially filed a lawsuit once morest Russia at the United Nations International Court of Justice in The Hague,” Zelensky said in a tweet.
He explained: “We demand that Russia be held accountable for distorting the concept of genocide to justify aggression, and we ask the court to order Russia immediately to stop hostilities and set a date for next week’s session.”
He continued, “Russia must be held responsible for manipulating the concept of genocide to justify aggression, and we demand an urgent decision ordering Russia to stop military activity now, and we expect the trials to begin next week.”
