According to “Shangguan News” report, Yu Shaoliang no longer serves as deputy secretary, standing committee member and member of the Shanghai Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China.

According to the public resume, Yu Shaoliang was born in July 1964. He graduated from the Chinese Department of Hebei University in 1984. Since then, he has worked in the news industry for a long time. He has served as the assistant to the president of the Hebei branch of Xinhua News Agency, the director of the editorial office, and a member of the party group of the Hebei branch. In 1999 In 2004, he was transferred to the vice president of Xinhua News Agency’s Shaanxi branch. In 2004, he became the vice president of Xinhua News Agency’s Shaanxi branch.

Yu Shaoliang was transferred to the Standing Committee of the Hubei Provincial Party Committee and head of the Organization Department in 2016, and became a member of the Standing Committee of the Shanghai Municipal Party Committee and head of the Organization Department in 2018. In October 2020, Yu Shaoliang was appointed Deputy Secretary of the Shanghai Municipal Party Committee. He is an alternate member of the 19th Central Committee.
