Only this Sunday, the Xiaomi Pad 5 costs almost €100 less

For a relatively affordable basic price, the Xiaomi Pad 5 is a tablet that has the particularity of offering features that are only found in the premium segment. Obviously, therefore, it is even better with a reduction of almost 100 euros.

This is not Xiaomi’s first touchscreen tablet, but its Pad 5 is undoubtedly the one that is turning the market upside down, in particular by offering an almost high-end technical sheet for a very low price compared to the competition. And this is even more the case today – and only today – thanks to a reduction of almost 100 euros on the original price.

What is the Xiaomi Pad 5?

  • A quasi-premium tablet
  • With WQHD+ display at 120Hz
  • More than two days of autonomy
  • And the high power of a Snapdragon 860

Instead of the usual 399 euros, the Xiaomi Pad 5 with 128 GB of storage is now available on sale at 307 euros on Rakuten using promo code RAKUTEN30. The product is shipped from France with delivery in 3 to 7 working days.

A premium technical sheet

By acquiring a Snapdragon 860 supported by 6 GB of RAM, the Xiaomi Pad 5 is a very powerful tablet. Thanks to this muscular configuration, you can easily perform all the tasks you want and even launch 3D games by pushing the graphics to the maximum in some cases. The user experience is guaranteed without slowdowns and it’s not just that that promises to be fluid, since the Xiaomi Pad 5 offers an excellent 11-inch LCD screen displaying a WQHD + definition of 2,560 x 1,600 pixels and a refresh rate at 120 Hz. This is impressive for the price, especially when you know that this kind of functionality is reserved for iPad Pro sold two to three times more expensive at Apple.

As for the endurance of Xiaomi’s tablet, the 8,720 mAh battery lasts for more than two days of use, unless you push the plug a bit far on the bingewatching Netflix or other series. This is a score in the market average, where for example a game of 30 minutes on Fortnite will only make you lose 7%. Recharging is done via its USB-C port, but unfortunately do not count too much on the efficiency of recovering percentages quickly, since it takes more than two hours to go from 0 to 100%.

L’iPad Pro made by Xiaomi

The design of the Pad 5 is strongly reminiscent of the high-end tablets from the Cupertino company, with well rounded edges and thin borders around the screen. The Chinese tablet, on the other hand, does not claim to compete with its American competitor in the field of photos without LiDAR or other sensors, since it simply has a main 13-megapixel sensor. Don’t expect state-of-the-art facial recognition or the centered camera feature for conferencing either, but the 8-megapixel sensor on the front will be more than enough for occasional video calls.
