Boston Celtics beat Detroit without Theis

Detroit – Even without the German national basketball player Daniel Theis, the Boston Celtics won their second game following the All-Star break in the NBA.

The Celtics won the Detroit Pistons 113-104 (56-54) and scored their eleventh win in the past twelve games. Jaylen Brown with 27 and Jayson Tatum with 26 points were the top shooters at the winner. Theis was not used by coach Ime Udoka.
