Ukrainian authorities said on social media that the Panamanian-flagged cargo ship Namura Queen and the Moldovan-flagged Millennial Spirit were killed by Russia near the Black Sea port of Pivdennyi. The Ukrainian rescue team immediately evacuated the crew and brought them safely to the port of Chernomorsk.

Another freight forwarder pointed out that according to traffic control and port information, the incident happened at 12:55 noon on the same day. The cargo ship involved was at anchor point No. 358 at that time, and the Queen Namura was hit at the stern and caught fire, and thick black came out. Smoke; but stressed that the situation is under control, the cargo ship has docked at the port to load grain. Ukrainian authorities earlier said they had closed all ports due to the war with Russia.
