[이데일리 스타in 김현식 기자] Ukrainian soccer player Vasil Kravets has expressed his desire to fight once morest Russia’s invasion of his home country.
Cravets is a defender who plays for Sporting Gijón in the Spanish Second Division.
In an interview with Marka Radio on the 24th (local time), he said, “They (Russian military) are killing even civilians in Ukraine. “It all happened because of Putin,” he said.
“If there comes a situation where everyone in Ukraine has to defend the country, I will talk with the club and leave,” said Kravets. He continued, “The only words I can say by calling my family right now are ‘Fighting’.”
“My wife cries 8 to 10 times a day,” he said. That is why people are feeling the fear of death.”
