Al-Marsad newspaper: The Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Moscow alerted visiting citizens and residents in the Russian Federation that the Russian Federal Air Transport Agency announced the temporary restriction of flights at some airports in southern Russia until March 2.

“Due to the aggravation of the situation around the situation in Ukraine, as of February 24, 2022, starting at 03:45 Moscow time, flights to a number of airports in southern Russia have become temporarily limited,” the embassy said in a statement. The registration is valid until 03:45 Moscow time on March 2, 2022.

The embassy indicated that the temporarily suspended airports are: Rostov (Platov), ​​Krasnodar (Pashkovsky), Anapa (Vityazevo), Gelendzhik, Elista, Stavropol, Belgorod, Bryansk, Kursk, Voronezh, Simferopol.

And she added that the Russian aviation authorities do not strongly recommend that passengers of incoming flights and those who meet them arrive at the airports. All changes to the schedule of airports and airlines should be clarified on the official websites of airports and airlines, including social networks.
