Anyone who has ever misplaced their favorite piece of jewelry will love this new TikTok trend. Welded bracelets, also known as welded bracelets or permanent bracelets, have been all over TikTok lately. But what exactly is behind this unexpected trend?

TikTok-Userin Presley Parker shared a video on the platform, in which she presented her gold bracelet, which was permanently welded around her wrist. She was obsessed with the finished product she showed her followers. The video has now more than nine million views.
What is welded jewelry?
Welded jewelry consists of silver and gold chains that are attached to the body at a jewelry store. Permanent bracelets are a single continuous chain that cannot be removed and has no clasp. For jewelers who offer permanent bracelets, welding or soldering a bracelet around a customer’s wrist takes no more than 15 minutes. Ideal for the forgetful among us or a great idea for an extraordinary friendship bracelet.
Can welded bracelets be removed?
Although designed for long-term wear and attached using laser welding, welded straps can be removed by simply cutting (for thin straps) the strap.
Why are welded bracelets trendy?
