The Head of Government, Aziz Akhannouch chaired, Wednesday in Rabat, an interministerial meeting, within the framework of the implementation of the High Royal Instructions relating to the project of the new Investment Charter.
On this occasion, Mr. Akhannouch highlighted the great importance attached by HM King Mohammed VI to the encouragement of investment, as the main lever for development and acceleration of economic recovery.
He also recalled the Sovereign’s Guidelines relating to the operationalization of the Charter project and the control of its effectiveness on the ground, with a view to establishing the Kingdom’s position as a distinguished destination for investment, to regional and international levels.
To support this project, Mr. Akhannouch called on the ministers concerned to continue setting up mechanisms likely to encourage entrepreneurial initiative and facilitate entrepreneurship, support investment, strengthen the business climate, moreover the optimal implementation of the various measures capable of creating an investment dynamic and the acceleration of the related reform projects, while ensuring to monitor their implementation on the ground.
The Head of Government also gave his directives to the ministers to sensitize the various stakeholders, with a view to ensuring their support and accelerating the implementation of this project.
Attended this meeting, the Minister of the Interior, Mr. Abdelouafi Laftit, the Secretary General of the Government, Mr. Mohamed Hajoui, the Minister of Economy and Finance, Mrs. Nadia Fettah Alaoui, the Minister of Development national territory, town planning, housing and city policy, Mrs. Fatima Ezzahra El Mansouri, the Minister of Industry and Trade, Mr. Ryad Mezzour, the Minister of Tourism, crafts and the social and solidarity economy, Mrs Fatima Zahra Ammor, the minister delegate to the head of government in charge of investment, convergence and evaluation of public policies, Mr Mohcine Jazouli and the minister in charge of digital transition and administrative reform, Ms. Ghita Mezzour.
