Reports that once once more fueled fears of a Russian invasion of Ukraine initially caused Europe’s stock markets to plummet on Tuesday. They later recovered for the most part.
But that is not a lasting reassurance. Christoph Schmidt from the fund company DWS puts it in a nutshell: “Against the background of the confusing situation, it is premature to already declare the low point on the markets.”
