Russia “has started to invade Ukraine”, assures Joe Biden

During a speech at the White House, the American president responded positively to the question posed by the American media since the beginning of the week: has Putin already invaded Ukraine?

Faced with Russian decisions to authorize the deployment of troops in the Donbass, he announced the implementation of new economic sanctions once morest Russia, aimed in particular “Russian sovereign debt” and the country’s elites.

The tenant of the White House also insisted on the importance of settling this conflict through diplomatic means: “we can always avoid the worst-case scenario”, he said at the end of the speech.
