Director Mohamed Turki, director of the “My memories” program presented by the great artist Samir Sabry, said on the radio that the latter is fine, and there is no truth to what was reported regarding his deteriorating health.
And Turki continued, in exclusive statements to “Masrawy”: “The artist Samir Sabry is in an ordinary room in the hospital, and he is completing some medical examinations, and he is, thank God, with full awareness and is speaking with us, and I hope everyone will pray for him for a speedy recovery,” noting that Samir is scheduled to leave. From the hospital following a week or 10 days.
He pointed out the keenness of a large number of art stars to go to the hospital and visit it to check on his health, including: Ilham Shaheen, Fifi Abdo, Merit Hariri, director Khaled Jalal, as well as broadcaster Bossi Shalaby.
Critic Tariq Al-Shennawi confirmed that what was reported regarding the deterioration of the artist’s health condition, Samir Sabry, was incorrect, explaining that they were just rumors, and demanded to stop releasing them.
Al-Shennawi, on his Facebook page, commented on what was reported regarding the health of the artist, Samir Sabry, and wrote: “Yesterday, Samir Sabry was reviewing the details of his lyrical program My Memory with the creative director Mohamed Turki on the songs station, to be broadcast today at four.”
He continued, “Samir is in the hospital receiving the necessary medical care, and within days, God willing, he will return to his home, and I hope that some will stop spreading rumors, and we pray to God for a speedy recovery to the great multi-talented artist who gave us a lot and still is.”
