Capcom just released a teaser for Street Fighter 6, but one reporter mistakenly noticed that the game’s new logo looks very similar to a clipart on Adobe Stock. The image is priced at $80.
Street Fighter 6 is the latest installment in the legendary Street Fighter series with a powerful logo that fits their fighting style. But the logo of this sector has been criticized for being too simple. and not as prominent as the previous sectors
Shortly following, Aurich Lawson revealed in a tweet that “the Street Fighter 6 logo is priced at $80 on Adobe Stock,” he was speechless. And he himself didn’t think it would be this bad.
Lawson revealed that he did a search for SF on the Adobe Stock website and found a clipart image similar to the game’s new logo. He then bought the image and converted it into several other characters, tweeting, “Ready to change your game name to Street Guardians, Street Puncherz, Street Crash, Street Heist, Street Smashers or Street Assault? not yet? The good news is that I have a logo ready for you for only 80 dollars!”
Capcom has been accused of stealing artwork before, which has been a hot topic once. It was the theft of Judy Juracek’s image for the Resident Evil 4 logo, and the case was recently settled in court. We’ll have to wait and see if this time the company actually bought the image from Adobe Stock or stole it. Or is it just a design that is too similar?
