Last week, the Xiaomi Redmi sub-brand unveiled its first member of the K50 family, the Redmi K50 Gaming (also known as K50G). This is a gaming model as the name suggests, with magnetic pop-up physical game triggers and the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC at the helm.
So a pretty interesting device without a doubt. And now, just days following its unveiling, we have a video teardown of it to show you. This one was recorded in China and seems type of, luck of official – be prepared to take a lot of pausing if you want to take a closer look at any of the components, because the pacing of this thing is really spry – it lasts just over a minute, and by the end the parts go also on a small car, because why not.
The Redmi K50 Gaming probably won’t launch under that name internationally, but last year the K40 Gaming was offered outside of China as the Poco F3 GT, so maybe it will happen once more in 2022, we’ll have to wait and see.
