CCC reportCOVID situationToday, Feb. 21, 65, the number of new cases is still high, 18,652, only 2,690 in Bangkok, 30 more deaths, more than 160,000 in treatment, 8,814 positive ATK tests.
At 12.30 hours on February 21, 2022, Dr. Apisamai Srirangsan, Assistant Spokesperson for the Center for Epidemic Management of the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (Covid-19) or Prof. and Ministry of Public Health The situation report of COVID-19 in Thailand is as follows:
- 18,704 infections in the country
- 17 infected in prisons/detention centers
- 162 foreign infections
- 14,914 more healed
- 2,542,145 cumulative recoveries (since 2020)
- 166,397 are being treated, 77,071 are in hospitals, 89,326 in field hospitals and others, of which 796 are in severe condition (pneumonia), 202 are required to be on a ventilator.
- 32 additional deaths, cumulative death toll 22,656 (since 2020)
- The cumulative total of 2,731,198 confirmed cases since 2020, counting as 2,712,316-2,731,198
- Thailand ranks 32nd in the world
For 18,883 new infected people, they are divided as follows:
- 18,618 new cases from surveillance and service systems
- Proactively search for 86 infected people in the community.
- Prison/prison 17
- 162 foreign visitors
The five provinces with the most cases today are Bangkok at 2,753, followed by Nakhon Si Thammarat at 960, Samut Prakan at 926, Chonburi at 884 and Nonthaburi at 852.
For the amount of ATK examination reported as of February 21, 2022 at 07.28 am, according to the Ministry of Public Health’s data. Another 15,010 positive cases were found, or ATK, while the cumulative total was 579,236, which was not included in the reported number of new cases confirmed by RT-PCR.
