In Durango they find deputy Celeste Sánchez lifeless

This Monday the federal deputy of Durango for the Labor Party, Celeste Sánchez Romero, 32, was found dead in her home.

After a call to the emergency number, lifeguards went to the home, located in Gabino Barreda street between Guadalupe and Zaragoza in the historic center of Durango, where she was found dead.

The causes of death are still unknown and, hso far, the Attorney General of the State of Durango has not commented on the case.

Just this Friday, Celeste Sánchez would have participated in a forum on the electrical reform in the country.

Shortly following the news was announced, Otniel García Navarro, leader of the National Regeneration Movement, sent a message confirming the news and regretting the fact. The federal legislator, Carlos Maturino, did the same.

The PRI caucus also expressed its condolences to family and friends of the legislator.

“We deeply regret the sensitive death of Dr. Celeste Sánchez Romero, federal deputy of the Labor Party. Our deepest condolences to her family and friends. Rest in peace,” she remarked.

Through its institutional accounts on social networks, the PRD parliamentary group also lamented the loss of the PT federal deputy.
