Crossover Mitsubishi Outlander new generation will certainly appear on the Russian market, but so far there are not even preliminary dates for the start of sales. Osamu Iwaba, President and Chief Executive Officer of MMS Rus, spoke regarding this at a press conference in Moscow.

At the same time, he stressed that the production of this model for Russia will be arranged at the PSMA Rus plant in Kaluga.

Major technical change fourth Mitsubishi Outlander compared to the third-generation crossover, the new CMF-C / D platform with a rear multi-link suspension, which he shared with the Nissan X-Trail (in the US this model is sold under the name Rogue).

From him, the new Outlander got a 2.5-liter gasoline “four” with a capacity of 181 hp, paired with a Jatco CVT and improved with the Super All-Wheel Control (S-AWC) all-wheel drive system. In total, five driving modes are available to the driver: Eco, Normal, Tarmac, Gravel, Snow and Mud.

At the moment, the third generation Outlander, which is assembled in Kaluga, is being sold on our market. The car is offered with two petrol engines with a capacity of 146 and 167 horsepower. Crossover prices start at 1,959,000 rubles.
