Bundesliga: Haaland celebrates the Reus Gala in BVB’s win against Gladbach – Bundesliga

This victory hurts – despite the Schützenfest! Dortmund wins 6-0, dismantles Gladbach but loses two players in Reyna and Zagadou.

BVB pimps and conjures itself out of the euro low!

After the clap once morest Glasgow (2: 4), sports director Zorc raged: “It was an achievement to shame!” Coach Marco Rose (45) shortly before kick-off with plain text: “We’ve talked enough. It’s time now!”

His captain apparently listened carefully…

REUS MAGICAL!

The Dortmunder towers, scores twice in stormy, wet weather and prepares three goals. In his 333rd Bundesliga game, Reus is involved in five goals for the first time!

The captain at DAZN: “We had to show a reaction once more. We’ve done it once more. We have to try to be like that in every game. When you play yourself into a frenzy, it’s always easier.”

He made it 1-0 (26th) himself, playing Malen’s 2-0 (32nd).

ROSE CHEERS!

The coach sweeps his former club out of the stadium and secures the Champions League (twelve points ahead). Rose: “We won an important Bundesliga game. Now it is important to show the right reaction to that as well.”

REYNA CRYING!

Immediately following the 1-0, the US boy has to leave the field and grab his thigh. Reyna has tears in her eyes, having just returned from an injury break of almost five months.

Rose: “Gio is pretty exhausted. We’ll fix the boy.”

Zagadou also has thigh problems and has to go (42nd).

Haaland cheers!

Dortmund conjures up from the deep! BVB star Erling Haaland (21) is also happy regarding that in the stands. The injured Norwegian cheers and laughs with a wool hat (“Whatever”) in the VIP lounge. He and the other BVB fans hold their breath when Reus also has to be treated for a long time. His own goalkeeper had elbowed him in the head. But Reus bites through, continues. And how!

The captain also sets up wildcard goals from Wolf (70′) and Moukoko (74′). After his goal to make it 5-0 (82′), he gave Can the penalty to make it 6-0 (90’+1′). The captain shows greatness.

Julian Brandt: “A reaction was required. The game was fun once more. None of us want this roller coaster ride. Of course, a bit of land went under three days ago. We’re trying to get the shit out on Thursday.”

Then BVB has to play in Glasgow in the second leg of the Euro.

And Gladbach? The Hütter-Elf is stuck at the bottom, only four points away from the relegation place. The trainer at DAZN: “What happened from 3-0 is not possible. We fell apart into our individual parts. The fact that we play so carelessly should be sharply criticized.”

And what’s next for Ösi? In Dortmund, new sports director Roland Virkus (55) is sitting on the Borussia bench for the first time. The Eberl successor had announced that he would take a very close look at everything. He may not have liked what he saw on Sunday.
