The 17-year-old hunter suspected of having killed a hiker was taken into custody by the Aurillac prosecution this Sunday.

The public prosecutor of Aurillac, Paolo Giambisi, announced this Sunday at the end of the morning the placement in police custody of the teenager suspected of having killed a 25-year-old hiker on Saturday in Cantal.

The young woman was taken into custody for manslaughter. Tested negative for narcotics and alcohol, she was hospitalized on Saturday in shock.

A young woman from Aveyron lost her life on Saturday followingnoon while hiking with her companion in the town of Cassaniouze, in Cantal. She was allegedly killed by a 17-year-old young woman, who was participating in a wild boar hunt.
