Galaxy S22 very strong demand, the other two are in the shadows

You can’t call it the Note, but you can call it the winner – the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra definitely topped the rankings in last week’s survey. It was a very popular option and is still in pre-order before the detailed reviews even arrived. This phone has impressed people.

Lots of people are waiting for reviews (we’re doing it), but so far the future of the S22 Ultra looks bright. Given the positive reviews, will people embrace his two brothers?

maybe. Now the Galaxy S22 and S22+ have failed to convince people that the new cameras and other upgrades are worth it. In fact, when you look at how the Galaxy S21 series gets extended support (an extra OS update and one year of security connections than originally planned), the 2021 phones look a lot better.

Charts: Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra • Galaxy S22 and S22 +

Between the two, the S22 seems to be the most preferred. Its size is a big draw as some people don’t have a large flagship – the S22 is Samsung’s smallest flagship following the S10e, and it’s much closer in features to its larger siblings than the E model. Some praised the larger dimensions of the Galaxy S22+, despite keeping the display at 1080p+. Others rubbed the wrong way (S20 and S20 + was + 1440p display).

Pre-orders close next week and sales will start on the 25th, so the first sales figures will be released soon. Pre-announcement predictions predict that the vanilla Galaxy S22 will outperform the S22 Ultra, which will outperform the S22+. While the Ultra is certainly the most desirable product, it costs 50% more than the vanilla model – what people want isn’t always what they can afford.

Expect reviews of the first Galaxy S22 series to be released soon.
