The American authorities announced that Lindsey Erin Perlman, who played a series of successful roles, most notably in “General Hospital” and “American Housewife,” has been found dead, days following she was reported missing in Los Angeles.
The actress’ body was found Friday morning, when Los Angeles police responded to a request for an investigation into a death in a Hollywood neighborhood, the police department said.
According to the news station, the Los Angeles coroner’s office has confirmed that the body is in fact Perelman’s, while the cause of death and the circumstances of its disappearance are still under investigation.
Perlman has had two roles in the television versions of “The Purge” and “Chicago Justice” and has extensive theater experience in her hometown of Chicago.
