The soccer player André Carrillo He surprised his followers by saying that as a teenager he sold a canchita in the circus of Timoteo.
In a recent interview with Jesús Alzamora for his program ‘La Lengua’, the Al-Hilal FC player recounted unknown details of his past when he was a low-income person.
The popular ‘Culebra’ assured that from a very young age he was ‘recursed’ by selling polo shirts and all kinds of things.
“My mother’s neighbor was Ricardo Bonilla ‘Timoteo’ and one day he told her that he was doing the circus thing and that if he wanted to work, he would set up a popcorn or cotton candy stand for him.”, Carrillo commented at the beginning.
“My mom went to chambear, in those times when everything was needed, everything added up and my mom instead of calling someone like an assistant who might help her, she told us if we wanted to help; and my brother and I used to go to the circus”, he added.
According to André Carrillo, since the sale was going very well, the owner of the circus asked him and his brother to also sell inside the tent. However, at first she embarrassed them because they were at school.
“At first we didn’t want it because of ‘roche’, but he told us that we might sell at a higher price and immediately we accepted, the embarrassment was lost. A day you ended up with 20 soles more and it was a fortune”, Said the selected one between laughs.
