Less than two months following being released from prison at the age of eighty-three, he was caught stealing once more.

I have already spent more than 30 years in prison, and this is the 17th time I am arrested once more.

A luxury country house complex on the outskirts of Yongin-si, Gyeonggi-do.

There are many villas whose owners only visit on weekends.

On the 1st of Lunar New Year, 83-year-old Jo Se-hyeong, along with a 63-year-old accomplice, aimed at an empty house with the lights off.

There are many villas, so it is usually a rare place like this.

The Cho and his crew broke into the high-end housing complex by crossing the wall at night time to take advantage of this.

After chasing CCTV, the police caught the accomplice first, and the accomplice confessed that “I committed a crime with Daedo Jo Se-hyung”, and in the end, Mr. Cho was also arrested.

From the end of January, they stole items worth 33 million won three times from the high-end housing complex in the area.

“If you go to a rich house, you steal everything you have. Cash, precious metals, luxury bags, and clothes.”

In the 1970s and 1980s, Jo Se-hyeong said that he only robbed the powerful and the wealthy with a single driver.

It is known that some of the stolen money was distributed to the poor, and Jang Young-ja, who was the oldest at the time, was called a ‘big thief’ because he stole the ‘waterdrop diamond’ and the money hidden by the powerful.

After serving 15 years in prison, he turned into a religious person, and following being released, he got a job at a security company.

“(In the past) a house like this had a dark heart in my heart, but now I’m here to check it out to do my best to protect it.”

However, two years later, he was arrested for robbing a luxury house in Japan, where he visited for missionary activities, and in Korea, he was imprisoned for shoplifting five times and repeatedly released.

This time, following being released from prison in December of last year, he was arrested once more following a month or so.

The police plan to apply for an arrest warrant, but this will be the 17th arrest.
