The management of Paris Saint-Germain, headed by Qatari Nasser Al-Khelaifi, offered the player Kylian Mbappe to stay with the French club and renew his contract in exchange for a significant increase in his salary of approximately 600,000 euros, to receive a weekly wage of up to 1.2 million euros, according to the British newspaper The Independent.
The newspaper confirmed that the player is studying the offer made to him, which would make him receive the highest salary in the history of football.
Mbappe’s contract with Saint-Germain expires next summer, and the French striker has so far refused all offers of renewal with the Paris team.
Many reports claim that the 23-year-old has settled his position and will move to Real Madrid next summer through a free deal, following the royal team failed to sign him in the last summer Mercato due to the intransigence of the Parisian team’s management.
