The delegation of the Lebanese men’s team returned to basketball from Dubai (United Arab Emirates), following winning the 24th Arab Championship, and a huge reception was held for it at the Salon of Honor of Rafic Hariri International Airport.
The attendance was presented by the Head of the Sports Department at the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Muhammad Oweidat, representing Minister Dr. George Kallas, Secretary General of the Lebanese Olympic Committee, Brigadier General Hassan Rostom, representing the committee, Vice President of the Basketball Association, Dumit Kallab, Tammam Jaroudi, Sami Nasser, Secretary General of the Federation, Lawyer Charbel Michel Rizk, Treasurer Vikin Jerjian, accountant Hisham Grady, two members Patrick Lahoud and Elie Khalil, and a group of press and media men.

Upon the arrival of the mission headed by a member of the federation and director of the national teams, Ghazi Boustani, to the Salon of Honor, the players entered the cheers and applause.

I hope that we will meet once more to celebrate Lebanon’s qualification for the World Cup competition that will be held in the year 2023. The Ministry of Youth and Sports will not hesitate to support the Lebanese basketball and the budget will be approved soon.
