Al-Marsad newspaper: The Kingdom is preparing to celebrate the founding day for the first time officially on February 22, and this day witnesses many artistic, cultural, entertainment and historical events that aim to familiarize citizens with this important stage of the nation’s history.
Founding Day Activities
The celebrations and events that are scheduled to be held during the anniversary of the founding day vary, starting on the 22nd and continuing for several days in different cities, all of which are scheduled to start from 4 to 11 pm, and we monitor them as follows:
Beginning March: It takes place in Wadi Namar on February 22, and more than one performer participates in it, telling the story of the kingdom’s founding and its development over three centuries.
Foundation operetta: It will be held on February 23 at the Mohammed Abdo Theater in the Boulevard City, Riyadh, during which a lyrical theatrical show will be presented and the most prominent historical stations that the Kingdom has gone through from Imam Muhammad bin Saud until now.
light showOn February 24, 2022, it will witness the launch of fireworks, drone shows and various sound effects.
art paintings: On the area located at the intersection of King Salman Road with Prince Turki Al Awal Road, visitors can enjoy watching the elaborate paintings that tell excerpts from the history of the Kingdom.
the CouncilIt will be held from February 22 to 24 at the National Museum in Riyadh. It includes interactive workshops, seminars and various discussions related to the establishment of the first Saudi state.
Najaj effectivenessIt will be held in the Exhibition Square on the Eastern Ring Road on the 24th, and it aims to introduce the visitor to the Saudi popular markets, and the traditional clothes in the Kingdom will be displayed and its development. It will be held in: Jeddah, Dammam, Madinah, Taif, Hail, Arar, Sakaka, Abha, Al Baha, Najran, Jazan, Tabuk and Buraydah.
The most important conditions for attending the founding day activities
The health status of the visitor in the Tawakkalna application must be “immune”.
The organizer has the right to prevent the latecomers from entering the event venue in accordance with the applicable system, in which case the ticket owner has no right to demand the ticket price.
Hazardous and prohibited materials are confiscated by the organizer or the security authorities at the event venue.
-Children under 8 years old are not allowed to enter the event venue.
Professional photography and video cameras are prohibited from entering the event venues.
