Al-Marsad newspaper: The Journal of the American Medical Association revealed a famous food that reduces the risk of stroke and lowers blood pressure.

And the magazine pointed out that broccoli is one of the best foods to protect once morest stroke, noting that broccoli is particularly rich in glutamic acid, an amino acid, “the flavor-enhancing compound responsible for the sense of taste for umami,” according to “Express.”

A study conducted by Northwestern University in Chicago indicated that a higher intake of the amino acid glutamic acid through vegetables such as broccoli is associated with lower blood pressure.

She stated, “There is no doubt that broccoli is one of the best foods for regulating blood pressure.”

It is noteworthy that a healthy diet can help reduce the risks of heart disease, diabetes and cancer, and eating healthy also reduces your chances of having a stroke or a transient ischemic attack (TIA).
