The Young Farmers of Haute-Garonne have been blocking the Lespinasse fuel depot north of Toulouse since Thursday morning at 9 a.m. About fifty demonstrators block access to protest once morest the rise in fuel prices.

“Following these two years of Covid19, the Young Farmers of Haute-Garonne are mobilizing to sound the alarm regarding the increase in the cost of raw materials and oil, in particular GNR, non-road diesel. Victim of globalisation, the agricultural profession cannot compensate for this price increase which, nowadays, constitutes an additional cost, both for farmers and for the rest of consumers” they explain.
