Porsche Macan T: lighter and more dynamic

The Porsche Macan expands its range with a version that pays homage to the ‘Touring’ models of the German brand. The iconic ‘T’ until now reserved for the 911 and 718, is incorporated into the SUV: the Porsche Macan T remains faithful to the concept of lightness and dynamism that carries that surname.

Precisely to keep it as light as possible, the 2.0 turbo engine has been chosen as it helps to reduce the weight on the front axle by 58.8 kg. This improves cornering behavior, while its 265 hp and 400 Nm of torque, combined with the seven-speed PDK transmission and Porsche Traction Management all-wheel drive guarantee its performance.

The Macan T it accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.2 seconds and has a top speed of 232 km/h (includes the Sport Chrono package as standard).

It’s the only one Porsche which mounts as standard the suspension of helical springs with damping Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), which reduces its ground clearance by 15 millimeters. Optionally, the adaptive air suspension lowers the height of the body by another 10 millimeters.

At the design level, it sports exterior elements in metallic Agate gray on the front, while the exhaust outlets and window trims are in black and it is possible to choose between 13 different body tones. In addition, it wears twenty-inch Macan S wheels in dark titanium.

It also maintains equipment common to the range, such as the Porsche Communication Management (PCM) system with a 10.9-inch touch screen and online navigation.
