Qatar Housing Units World Cup: 15000 housing units in Qatar ahead of FIFA World Cup – Qatar to add over 15,000 housing units ahead of world cup 2022

Doha: 15,000 more residential units to operate in Qatar ahead of World Cup By 2021, approximately 4,800 residential units and 400 villas will be completed nationwide. 15,000 residential units are being prepared for completion, according to a report by real estate consultancy firm Valustrat.

Most of the units in Pearl Qatar, Lusail and West Bay will be completed by 2021. Qatar’s budget for the current year has allocated 74 billion riyals for the construction of major projects.

Despite Kovid, Qatar’s housing market had maintained steady growth in 2021. Last year, there were regarding 2,500 crore riyals worth of transactions in this sector. According to the Associated Press, the American news agency, regarding 90,000 rooms will be available in Qatar for spectators during the World Cup.

Qatar expects 1.5 million visitors for the World Cup. In addition to hotels, apartments and villas, accommodation is provided for spectators on luxury ships, fan villages in the Arabian desert, and private homes. There are also 16 hotels set up across the ocean floor.
