MLB-Juan Soto revealed why he rejected the 350 million offer

the dominican John Soto of the Washington Nationals reveals the reason why he rejected the offer from 350 millions of dollars in the MLB.

ESPN’s Enrique Rojas reported that Soto turned down a $350 million, 13-year offer from the Washington Nationals before the lockout. However, Juan Soto has a reason why he decided to do it:

“But right now, me and my agents think the best option is to go year following year and wait for free agency. My agent, Scott Boras, is in control of that situation,” Soto added.

At the end of the 2024 season Juan Soto is an unrestricted free agent, he will be available to sign with any other Major League team. Soto has not had strong complaints regarding his team, only one following seeing how they changed all the players who were there when he arrived.

It should be noted that Soto only needed to say “Yes” to have the third largest contract in the history of the industry, only surpassed by Fernando Tatis Jr and Mike Trout.
