Confirmation of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) in the entertainment industry continues. Group BTS V and singer Lee Seung-gi were confirmed.
Big Hit Music announced on the 15th, “BTS V had mild sore throat symptoms, so he visited the hospital during the day and received a PCR test, and was confirmed with Corona 19 at night.”
V is a breakthrough infection following completing the second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. Currently, there are no symptoms other than a mild fever and a slight sore throat, and he is being treated at home and awaiting guidance from the quarantine authorities.
It was reported that there was contact with the other members on the 12th, but they were all wearing masks and there was no close contact. The agency said, “Except for V, BTS members currently do not have any special symptoms, and all of the self-diagnosis kit test results were negative.”
He added, “Considering the health and safety of the artist as our top priority, we will do our best to support V so that he can recover his health as soon as possible. We will also faithfully cooperate with the requests and guidelines of the quarantine authorities.”
On the same day, singer Lee Seung-gi was confirmed.
The agency said, “Lee Seung-gi was tested with a self-diagnosis kit before filming an advertisement, but it came out positive, so he immediately stopped the schedule and performed a PCR test. The final confirmation was confirmed by the PCR test.”
Lee Seung-gi had completed the third inoculation, and now he has stopped all schedules and entered self-quarantine.
Afterwards, Lee Seung-gi directly through SNS, “Many people are worried and contact me a lot. Please do not worry too much because it is a common cold-like symptom. I will recover quickly and greet you with a healthy image. Thank you to many people who care.” reassured them
