“Lost Ark” amassed 1.325 million players on the day of its release

Madrid, Feb 15 “Lost Ark”, the new great success of Amazon Games, accumulated more than 1,325 million simultaneous players worldwide during the first twenty-four hours of its launch, which makes it the second most played title in the story on “Steam”, the leading online gaming platform for PC. With these figures, this free massively multiplayer online role-playing and action game for PC, known as an MMORPG (acronym in English for massively multiplayer online role-playing game) has become a viral phenomenon beyond the market where it has not stopped breaking records since it went on sale in 2019, so much so that Amazon Games is considering opening a new server region in Europe. This would avoid waiting when connecting and speed up loading times, a problem that many users complained regarding on February 11, when it was launched in the western market, where they have already exceeded 4, 7 million registered players, of which 45% come from Europe and 55% from North and Latin America.
