Lebanese security forces arrest an ISIS terrorist, one of the “most dangerous people smugglers”

The security forces announced the arrest of one of the most dangerous people smugglers across the border in northern Lebanon, who is wanted at the same time for the crime of belonging to the “ISIS” organization.
The General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces announced, in a statement yesterday, that as a result of follow-up and monitoring, information was available at the Halba Judicial Detachment in the Judicial Police Unit regarding the presence of one of the most dangerous people smugglers across the border, who is wanted by the judiciary according to a summary of a ruling for the crime of belonging to the terrorist organization ISIS. And an arrest warrant for a felony, in one of the houses in the town of Al-Amayr – Wadi Khaled, North Lebanon, called: “M. p.» (born in 1989, Lebanese).
The statement indicated that on the current date of February 9, one of the detachment’s patrols managed to arrest him in the aforementioned house, accompanied by two people of Syrian affiliation, who were found to have entered the Lebanese territory surreptitiously, namely: “H.S.” (born in 1987), and “A.H.” (born in 1998), and pointed out that by interrogating the first detainee, he confessed to what was attributed to him, and that he was working to smuggle people across the border, in return for sums of money, and that the investigation is under the supervision of the competent judiciary.
