The local fishermen judged that it may be a large-tailed eel or catfish.
Sun Moon Lake fisherman Lai Fujin said that there are actually a lot of big fish in the waters of Sun Moon Lake. He has seen black radon weighing 70-80 catties, and its body shape is like a human being; there is also a large-headed silver carp weighing 40-50 catties, the most famous Quyao fish in Sun Moon Lake. A large fish weighing up to 12 pounds has also been found. However, Lai Fujin said that such a big fish is not suitable for eating, he can’t catch it, just appreciate it.
Lai Fujin, who used to be a big farmer in Sun Moon Lake, said that in recent years, he stopped fishing and began to transform ecological exploration tours to lead tourists to appreciate the beauty of the Sun Moon Lake aquarium, and to see the sight of large and small fish swimming in the water foraging. Tourists feel a novel experience and can operate sustainably. It is more beneficial than eating the fish directly. Therefore, I hope that the big fish of the water monster level can continue to swim in the beautiful Sun Moon Lake, and occasionally show up for a “man-fish encounter”, which is full of surprises.
