Ubisoft Shanghai plans a new Might and Magic

Job offers are getting talked regarding once more in the news. It is the Ubisoft career site that tells us that the publisher wants to bring back a well-known license from its catalog. More specifically, the Asian division Ubisoft Shanghai which is recruiting a Senior Brand Manager for the franchise Might and Magic.

Such a profile testifies to one thing: the publisher is curious to see if a new installment in the dungeon crawler franchise would still make sense today. Indeed, the latter is mainly known to the oldest among us. The first episode still dates back to 1986 and the most recent already dates from 2014. The reception from players and critics has been mixed. In the meantime, several other representatives of the genus have drawn attention to them. The task therefore does not look easy for who will fill this role. What’s more, the expressed wish is clear: the ambition is to offer an “AAA” experience.
