The Directorate of Health Affairs in Aswan launched a promotional campaign to provide services and means for family planning and reproductive health “for free”, under the slogan “Your Right to Organize”, which will run from 13 to 24 February.
This comes within the periodic campaigns conducted by the ministry to control the rates of population increase in the context of concern for the health and development of the family and the realization of Egypt’s vision 2030.
Dr. Ehab Hanafy, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in Aswan, said in a press statement that the campaign will be implemented in all Aswan governorate centers, including remote and deprived areas, in addition to villages and areas where the President’s initiative (a decent life) is implemented. During the period from 13 to 17 February (Aswan Center – Daraw – Edfu East), and during the period from 20 to 24 February (Kom Ombo – Nasr Nuba – Edfu West)
He pointed out that the campaign aims to provide free family planning services and means, in addition to supporting the Egyptian woman and raising health awareness for the Egyptian family.
The campaign also provides awareness services within the “Our Days Are Better” initiative to raise health awareness for different age and societal segments, by raising awareness of the importance of family planning and its impact on the health of mothers and children.
