S-Bahn collision near Munich
Two S-Bahn trains collided in the south of Munich on Monday followingnoon. According to initial information from the Munich police, there are said to be several injured and at least one dead. It is still unclear how the crash might have happened. The incident happened in the area of the Ebenhausen-Schäftlarn S-Bahn station. Numerous emergency services were on site. The route was completely closed. A rail replacement bus service has been set up for passengers. Police investigations have been launched.
