Further relaxation of Kovid restrictions in Kuwait

Kuwait announces further relaxation of Kovid restrictions Travelers who have completed the vaccination do not need a PCR certificate or quarantine. Those who have not been vaccinated will be allowed entry. The exemptions will take effect from the 20th of this month.

At a cabinet meeting on Monday evening, Kovid decided to grant exemptions from the restrictions. Nine months following completing the two doses, the vaccine is not available in Kuwait. Such persons do not need a prior PCR certificate. After their arrival in Kuwait, the quarantine can be terminated if the PCR test is negative.

Those who have not been vaccinated at all and those who have taken a single dose can come to Kuwait with a PCR negative certificate within 72 hours. Home quarantine is mandatory for them for 7 days. None of these conditions apply to those under the age of 16 who are not required to be vaccinated. The social distance requirement in churches has also been waived. Those who have not been vaccinated will also be allowed to enter the malls. All assemblies, including closed spaces, will be allowed. Vaccinated persons can enter the theater and party halls unconditionally and those who do not, can enter with a 72-hour PCR negative certificate and public transport will be able to operate at full capacity. Passengers will be required to wear a mask. Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Khalid Al-Hamad Al-Sabah told a news conference that the cabinet had decided that government offices would be fully operational from March 13.
