Some official images and specifications of OnePlus Nord CE 2 have been revealed

OnePlus has already launched one of its most important devices and its largest flagship phone this year, the OnePlus 10 Pro – even if you can’t get it yet -. However, the company has a phone geared more towards mid-range budgets on its way on Thursday.

Before the launch of OnePlus Nord CE 2, the company shared some official information regarding the device with TechRadar. The images you see in this article are confirmed images of the phone, so now you know for sure what it will look like.

The first thing you will notice is that it lacks the traditional OnePlus devices slider responsible for alerts. This feature apparently did not appear on the original OnePlus Nord CE either (“CE” stands for “Core Edition”). If you were hoping for OnePlus to bring it back to CE, it won’t happen this time.

You’ll also notice that the rear camera module borrows a lot from the Oppo Find X3 Pro in terms of shape, and also the look and feel of the Oppo Find X5 Pro design. And here it is clear that the merger of OnePlus 2.0 with Oppo is starting to appear significantly.

OnePlus Nord CE 2 also comes in a new color called Bahama Blue. OnePlus explains in Alani how to create the color in its own way:

“When designing the colors for the OnePlus Nord CE 2, the production team wanted to develop its blue colour, and they did so by adopting a much brighter and bolder blue than the original Blue Void, which was the Nord CE colour. The new blue color in OnePlus Nord CE 2 shows an omnidirectional gradient of blue and yellow that blends beautifully together.”

OnePlus Nord CE 2 specifications:

Away from the shape of the phone, OnePlus also shared with us some of the internal specifications of the new Nord.

Nord CE 2 will have a 4,500 mAh battery. With support for OPPO’s SuperVOOC fast charging feature, you can charge the device at 65W using the included charger and cable. This is twice as fast as what we saw in the original CE Nord.

OnePlus has also confirmed that the phone will support microSD cards. The capacity limit will be 1 TB. However, the company hasn’t disclosed internal storage options, although the safe bet is 128GB or 256GB versions.
