It’s been 10 days since Dying Light 2 was released on PC and consoles and for Techland, it’s time to take stock. In a tweet posted just before the weekend, the Polish studio lets us know that 3 million players were present for the launch weekend alone, i.e. from February 4 to 6, 2022. Whether these are actual sales, Techland remains rather unclear, but for comparison , it is much stronger than the first episode which took 45 days to reach the same ratio. Be careful all the same, because player feedback since the title’s release has been generally deceptive, since the game collects a user score of 5.7/10 on Metacritic. The numerous bugs, the crashes, but also the frame-rate which is obviously not up to par with some are obviously pointed out. Techland has already announced that it is working on a large patch to correct all these problems, knowing that the day one patch had already fixed a lot of things. It’s a bit sad to say, but it’s become a classic in 2021/2022…
