Tie and Dye: new free outfits for Dying Light 2

What might be better than attacking Valentine’s Day on its 31? This is what Techland seems to mean yesterday by publishing on its Youtube channel a trailer (available above) of the first DLC to come from Dying Light 2 : Stay Human. Entitled Authority Packthis free extra content offers cosmetics related to the faction of the Peacekeepers which is a military faction of former soldiers. Starting today around 3:00 p.m., the first part of the set that can be picked up on PC, PlayStation and Xbox is pants, shoes and a jacket. At an unknown date will come a mask and a set for hand and wrists, while it is a cosmetic item for the melee weapon that will complete the whole thing.

This DLC Authority Pack therefore constitutes the first stage of the specifications of the developers planned since the launch of the game. In the coming days, we can therefore expect a similar treatment for the other factions with outfits specially made for the Renegades and the Survivors. This free additional content precedes an unprecedented series of challenges and events (March and April) before a first narrative DLC scheduled for June.

Dying Light 2: players always mobilized.

It is therefore five years of content that the developers of Techland promise us, with this first DLC planned today. At the same time, it will take that to keep the many players on the game: at the end of last week, the developers counted three million players in The City of Dying Light 2. Besides that, the title made an excellent start on Steam with a peak of 274,983 players connected simultaneously. A mobilization that is strongly maintained, since Sunday saw 144,708 players connect at the same time to the title.

A success that Dying Light 2 owes to his experience “breathtaking, generous, fun and complete while offering an open world as beautiful as it is coherent” according to the JV test. A game that is all the more entertaining as it can be played with several people. Dying Light 2: Stay Human is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series. A Nintendo Switch version is also expected, at an unknown date.
