Biathlon: Norway’s Johannes Thingnes Bø won the gold medal in the men’s 10km sprint and his brother Tarjei won the bronze;
cross country skiing: Russia wins women’s 4x5km team relay in dramatic fashion;
Steel frame snowmobile: Hannah Neise continues Germany’s dominance in the sport by winning the women’s bobsleigh title a year following her junior world championship.
ski jumping: Norway’s Marius Lindvik beat Japan’s Ryoyu Kobayashi, who was aiming for a double ski jumping title, to win the gold medal in the men’s individual big platform competition.
snowboard: USA’s Lindsey Jacobellis (female, 36) and Nick Baumgartner (male, 40) won the snowboard slalom chase mixed team competition. They are the oldest pair in the competition, the latter being the oldest ever Olympic snowboard winner.
Speed skating: China’s Gao Tingyu wins gold in the men’s 500m.
