This Saturday, February 12, the authorities would have captured those responsible for the murder of the journalist Natalie Castillowho worked for the United Nations (UN) and was murdered on December 24 in the Galerías sector, downtown Bogotá.
The media outlet Semana announced that apparently two people were captured for the crime of the social communicator.
According to the aforementioned media, those captured will be presented before a guarantee control judge to answer for the crimes of aggravated homicide and qualified robbery.
Apparently the arrest legalization hearings would have been held around 6:00 pm this same Saturday.

In the early hours of December 24, in the town of Teusaquillo, the journalist Natalie Castillo She was attacked by criminals who intercepted her when she was leaving a restaurant where she shared with several friends.
Castillo, who worked as a communications advisor for the office of the United Nations on Drugs and Crime -UNODC-, She was wounded with a firearm and reached the Palermo Clinic with vital signs, but unfortunately the young woman died minutes later.
Given the fact of insecurity that blinded the journalist’s life in the country’s capital, the Bogota Metropolitan Police announced a reward of up to 20 million pesos for information that would lead to the whereregardings of those responsible for this crime.
“We deeply regret an event that occurred in the early hours of today in the Galleries sector, where some people who were leaving a public establishment they were approached by some individuals to steal their personal belongingsAs a result of this event, a 32-year-old woman, Cindy Natalia Castillo, died. Together with the Prosecutor’s Office, we formed an inter-institutional team to quickly find these criminals,” said Major General Óscar Antonio Gómez, commander of the Bogotá Police at the time.
Cace remember that once the crime occurred, the Attorney General’s Office took over the investigation from the hand of a prosecutor from the Life Unit. Investigators from the entity collected evidence at the place where the communicator was attacked in order to establish the identity of the murderers.
Natalie Castillo She graduated as a social communicator and journalist from the Inpahu University Foundation in 2011 and had specializations in social networks for knowledge management from the Javeriana University and in strategic communication, communication and media studies from the Sergio Arboleda University.
According to her LinkedIn profile, she had extensive experience in the public sector, where she was linked to the National Television Authority, the Special Jurisdiction for Peace and the Agency for Reentry and Normalization, where he served as a strategist for the Communications Advisory Office. From there, she made the leap to become a communications and prevention advisor for the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime in Colombia, a position she held since August of this year.
