Kiheung Lee, President of Korea Sports Council, asks ISU President for a fair decision

Lee Ki-heung, president of the Korea Sports Council, met with the International Skating Union (ISU) President Jan Deikema (Netherlands) and asked for a fair decision.

On the 13th, the Sports Association said, “President Lee met with ISU President Deikema at the women’s 1000m short track speed skating awards ceremony held at the Beijing Medal Plaza in Beijing on the 12th, China on the 12th. We asked for a fair decision regarding the match that will be held in the future.” The Sports Council added, “Chairman Deikema promised fair game operation.”

Chairman Lee delivered medals to players including silver medalist Choi Min-jung (Seongnam City Hall) at the awards ceremony, and Chairman Deikema delivered a bouquet of flowers. On the 9th, the Sports Council decided to protest the unfair judgment of the referee through a video interview with ISU officials, including President Deikema.
