The proportion of non-regular employees among the members of the national pension is increasing rapidly.
According to the National Pension Insured Persons Survey, the ratio of temporary and part-time workers was 13.8% in 1996, but increased to 31.4% in 2019. On the other hand, the ratio of self-employed and family employees decreased from 39.3% to 23.7% during the same period.
