From Wanda Nara, who was seen to be born and grow up in the middle, seems to know absolutely every detail of her life. However, this week a forgotten and never fully confirmed page was uncovered: had an affair with Álvaro Navia in the summer of 2007.
It was in intruders (America), within the framework of the “Theatrical experience and romances of the past” section, in which the journalist Gonzalo Vázquez reviews some retro stories from past summer seasons. So it was that in the program hosted by Florencia de la V they remembered that Nara had a theater season in 2007 with Jorge Corona, from which he resigned arguing ill-treatment on the part of Mónica Corona, the woman of the comedian.
That was when the arrow between the Uruguayan and the growing vedette took place, under the marquee of Iliana’s family rings the bellsince they were part of the cast of the play headed by Iliana Calabró.
To bring that moment to these days, Vázquez spoke with Gustavo Benzaquén, producer of that work. And he confirmed that Wanda was not having a good time with Corona and that she was going to see him to ask for help: “She came to ask for help, but she was also in a relationship with a member of the cast. I tried to cover up a bit because there wasn’t much press to do. Because apart from that, the figure was Iliana Calabró, ”she said. The mobilero asked him who he was and the theatrical producer answered with clues that clearly pointed to Navia: “He was an associate of mine, a humorist, Uruguayan…”.
“Was he playing at two points?” Vázquez wanted to know, since in those days the actor who played Waldo had met Vanina Escudero, who is still his partner today. “No no no! The relationship was much later”, clarified Benzaquén. And to show that she was telling the truth, he illustrated with a particular anecdote that revealed Wanda’s moods in those days.
“The Uruguayan comedian rented a country house in Constitución, where we spent the end of the year. And at one point, when Wanda realizes the other relationship, they had already stopped being together. So, out of jealousy, she left her car in this garage of the fifth house so that when the new couple arrived they would see that she was inside.”, recalled the producer.
Vázquez wanted to know if the comedian had broken Wanda’s heart and stated: “Yes, he left her because he started a family with two children that has been going on for almost 15 years. He is a great guy, very familiar and this was a touch and go a couple of months. He was very much in love with Vanina and still is, “she closed.
After the interview with Benzaquén, on the floor of intruders It was recalled that in 2019, Navia and Escudero had been guests at incorrect (America), the cycle led by Moria Casán. And when they were remembering how they had started their romance, the One he recalled, openly, the comedian’s affair with Nara. “You were with Wanda, right?”, he shot the Uruguayan, who might not hide his discomfort, despite the fact that his wife began to laugh at the comment.
Without giving too many details regarding that ephemeral relationship, Navia put the context of the summer in which he met his wife and mother of his children: “It was the same summer that I met Vanina, that we both worked on Channel 9 and I I hired her to be a figure in a play I was producing with Iliana Calabró.
