They moved Koki’s body to the El Junquito cemetery

The body of Carlos Luis Revette, alias el Koki, was transferred to the El Junquito cemetery on the followingnoon of this Friday, February 11, for burial. This, according to information shared by the journalist Rosibel González.

The communicator explained that the body of the koki was transferred in a van from the National Service of Medicine and Forensic Sciences of Bello Monte. “It was known that the coffin was ‘donated’ by the organization,” González assured in Twitter.

Relatives of Revette went to the Bello Monte morgue to finish the paperwork and be able to remove the body.

The dead Koki in Las Tejerías

News of Koki’s death broke on Tuesday, garnering national press attention over the course of the week.

The subject, who for years maintained armed control of Cota 905, was killed in the middle of Operation Guaicaipuro II. This was carried out in the town of Las Tejerías, Aragua state since Sunday.

When Koki’s death was reported, confusion reigned over rumors that alias the Rabbit had also died. The latter is the leader of the Las Tejerías criminal gang, and Revette’s main ally since Operation Guaicaipuro I dismantled his gang at Cota 905 in July 2021.

However, on Wednesday, February 9, Remigio Ceballos, Minister of Internal Relations, Justice and Peace, clarified that the Rabbit is still alive and that the officials involved in Operation Guaicaipuro II are still looking for him.
