The plenary session of Congress has granted the vote of confidence to two ministerial cabinets of the government of peter castle, conferences in which the positions of central factions, such as the Alliance for Progress (APP) or Popular Action, were key. The alternate spokeswoman for AP, Karol Paredes, indicated that her bench has not yet discussed the matter, but said in a personal capacity that she expected a more conciliatory prime minister who dialogues with Parliament and the citizenry. “The mood is very concerned regarding what is happening. We are also doubting whether or not this administration loves the country”He told this newspaper.
In Paredes’ opinion, the appointment of Aníbal Torres is a “provocation” of the head of state. “I continue to insist that there is a fairly clear plan to break the country’s democracy, I mean the closure of Congress”he added.

In his turn, the spokesman for Somos Perú, José Jerí, maintained that there is an intermediate spirit in his caucus, which will depend on Torres’ presentation in plenary. But he noted: “It is not a Cabinet that generates much enthusiasm. Could be better. However, we have always said that it depends a lot on what they expose in the congress. We believe more in the actions of the authorities than in their names”.
The three ungrouped legislators and members of the Purple Party announced that they will not grant the vote of confidence.
Meanwhile, who has also had critical expressions towards the Cabinet is Ruth Luque, alternate spokesperson for Together for Peru. “Personally it is difficult for me, following several Cabinets, to say this one is good, this one is not. My assessment is that the president was able to present a better cabinet”he pointed out to this newspaper and specified that his bench will evaluate the issue.
For Luque, it will be important to know what actions the government will take, especially in key issues such as the fight once morest corruption, education and transportation reform, access to health services, management of social conflicts, agriculture, and others. “I maintain my critical position on several appointments. Background
In the case of the cabinets of Guido Bellido and Mirtha Vásquez, the main votes once morest came from Fuerza Popular, Renovación Popular and Avanza País. Legislators from these benches have questioned the current Cabinet, suggesting the same position in the face of the vote of confidence.
Peru Libre, which has been strengthened in the current Cabinet, was mostly inclined to vote in favor on previous occasions. Recently, from the bench of the pencil he has supported the team led by Aníbal Torres.

DOES IT REACH THE VOTES?
According to article 130 of the Political Constitution of Peru, “Within thirty days of assuming his functions, the President of the Council attends Congress, in the company of the other ministers, to present and debate the general policy of the government and the main measures required by his management.
